Four Star Rating!

For the 6th year in a row, The ARC of Jacksonville has been awarded the highest rating of four stars by DFS for the facility's care of its residents. We are very proud of this achievement!

Restorative Alzheimer's Programming

The ARC Corporation is in the final stages of the implementation of "Restorative Alzheimer's Programming." The process begins with proper resident selection, an individualized assessment, and a treatment plan for the resident. This treatment plan will be made with the coordination of physicians, family, and staff. The goal of this program is to maximize the resident’s mental awareness to become self-sufficient with activities of daily living. We pride ourselves by going above and beyond to maximize the potential in the following ways—-assessing, selecting, and planning their care. In the past, residents have been admitted to the facility with many mental and physical challenges such as the ability to ambulate and lack of socialization. Our mission is to minimize those challenges with this program, and this approach has proven to be very successful for our residents and families.

Internal Quality Assurance Survey Program

The Internal Quality Assurance Survey program consists of a Registered Nurse, with over 30 years as a Licensed Assisted Living Administrator, and other licensed professionals will arrive unannounced at an ARC facility to survey all areas of the facility’s operation. This includes nursing, housekeeping, dietary, activities, administration, medical records, and any other aspect of the day-to-day operation of our facilities. Based upon their findings, they will submit a written report to the owner of Alzheimer’s Related Care Corporation and work with facility staff on any areas they find requires attention. This survey will be conducted on a monthly basis. This will ensure we maintain our highest standard of quality of care, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Alzheimer's/Geriatric Physician Program

The ARC of Jacksonville is pleased to announce its selection, by the US Department of Navy, as their Clinical Training site in Alzheimer's/Geriatric Physician Program for their Naval Hospitals. This opportunity will enable physicians completing residency by the Navy to train at The ARC. They will provide on-site physicians daily in the care of our residents. This is a new and unique program to the Navy and to us. We are honored by this achievement to be one of the first facilities chosen to work with these professionals.

Join me in congratulations to The ARC and its fine staff.
